Must have related degree, with a minimum of 6 years conceptual & Design Build estimating experience. Candidates must have estimating experience with projects up to $40 million. This position requires advanced computer skills. Experience with Timberline & SureTrak software a plus. Individual must have excellent communication and customer relations skills. Construction Manager and General Contractor with projects in the Public, Private, and Institutional sector needs PE with minimum two years exp. Requires management of multiple projects, pre-construction services, scheduling, cost control. Position Needed: Estimator
Underground utilities construction and site development estimator/take off person needed. Minimum 3 years experience in estimating utilities and site work required, 5 years or more preferred. Civil engineering degree a plus, but not required, especially if the experience is there. Scopes of work included in bids are asphalt, concrete, road base, earthwork, pipe (storm, sewer, water). DOT experience a plus. (Not a trainee position—must be able to perform all estimator functions immediately upon hire). Must be able to do take-offs and complete bids accurately and in a timely manner. Applicants must be able to provide verifiable professional references and list of projects bid. Must be familiar with bid related software—applicant provides software specific details. MUST have a clean (insurable) DL. Job Title: Crew Chief
Description: To coordinate home repairs and modifications with the Construction Supervisor. To provide supervision, direction, support and training to the crew in the operation and provision of direct services.
Requirements: Experience with production scheduling, inventory and equipment maintenance. Working knowledge of all aspects of general home repair.
Ability to build teams and supervise, organize and train crew. Good job estimation and time management skills. Able to keep clear and accurate records and work well with consumers and their families. Must be able to successfully complete the uniform client assessment instrument training.
Must pass a FDLE criminal background screen. Must pass a Florida Department of Motor Vehicle driving record screen in order to drive company vehicles or any other vehicle to conduct company business. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., push, pull, stoop, climb ladders, bend, talk, hear and see. Able to work with exposure to the elements and chemicals.
Must be able to successfully complete the uniform client assessment instrument training. Must possess a valid Florida driver's license and current automobile insurance (if personal automobile owned). Experience driving a truck with a trailer preferred.
